AGOC Bids Farewell to

Engineer. Saleh A. Al-Mulhim



Leaving for normal date retirement with over than 34 years, Saleh A. Al-Mulhim is an Engineering Consultant in AGOC.

Al-Mulhim is a S. Aramco Engineering Consultant and serving as a loanee to the Aramco Gulf Operation Company since Nov. 2014 to end of Dec. 2020. He provided engineering consultation to the PME project and other capital projects for KJO and AGOC presentative in KJO’s ORA, for the restoration of the KJO facilities for re-start up for Oil, Gas & NGL production.

He started as Process & Control Engineer in Abqaiq Plants NGL and Oil Facilities, and moved throughout the Southern Area Gas Plants, Central Engineering in Dhahran, Gas & NGL Planning & Marketing Department in Dhahran, both in the technical leader and management ladder. In the management ladder, held several position starting from Maintenance and Operation Foreman moved up to Process Engineering Unit Supervisor, Engineering’s General Supervisor and Engineering Superintendent.

Notability, Saleh was selected and worked from 2009-2013 in the development of Kingdom’s King Abdullah Petroleum Studies & Research Center (KAPSARC) in Riyadh, as part of the energy team to develop the energy research programs and the energy data resources to support the research programs; along with Energy Knowledge Center.

KAPSARC is the first Think Tank to be developed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the umbrella of Ministry of Energy. Furthermore, KSAPSARC is the 1st Entity in Riyadh to utilize Solar Energy to cover 30% of electrical demand for KAPSARC and its associated living compound. Al-Mulhim contributed to the design and installation of the Solar Energy Farm, as well.

He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the USA since Dec. 1985 and Joined S. Aramco in March 1986. Additionally, he was the 1st Saudi Engineer to be granted a US Professional license in Oct. 1990, from the State of Ohio’s Board of Engineers (Government Entity), and at early stage of his career.
