AGOC Bids Farewell to

Engineer. Nasser Ali Al-Khaldi



Leaving for retirement with over than 39 years, Nasser Ali Al-Khaldi is the upstream department General Supervisor of Petroleum Engineering & Development in AGOC.

Al-Khaldi is a Saudi Aramco senior Reservoir Engineering consultant and serving as a loanee to the Aramco Gulf Operation Company since August 2009.

In 2000, Nasser one of the leaders to work the successful increment of Abu Sa’fah field from 150 MBOD to double the production rate to 300 MBOD by applying full field smart well extended drilling and artificial lift.

In 2004, he has led the first Saudi Aramco intelligent AFK subsurface fields’ development that came on stream in 2008 with production capacity of 0.5 Million Barrels per day of blend crude, which were produced from eleven reservoirs in three different fields.
He holds BSc from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), which he received in 1986. He worked previously in Northern Area fields’ production, drilling and facilities engineering over a period of three years where last he ended in Northern area reservoir management department as a supervisor and acting division head.
Nasser has worked in reservoir management of Saudi Aramco fields for over 23 years before joining AGOC in 2009 and worked with KJO as RDM division head until March 2019. During last 11 years in Khafji, Nasser received several awards and recognitions for successful completion of management projects.
