To cope with the effects of rainfall and floods during the rain situation in Al- Khafji

CBD emergency team applies precautionary plans

On the 27th of November, the CBD emergency team implemented the contingency plans to address the effects of rainfall and floods during the rainy situation in areas of the joint operations. The impact of the strength and abundance of rain was significant in the rise in water levels to record levels in some locations, which called for the team to start work at those sites. They played a prominent role in solving the problem, removing the water pools from these sites and neutralizing their effects completely. The presence of the emergency team around the clock and its intensive follow-up has had a great impact on accurate knowledge of the water points and monitoring of their tracks. In addition, all buildings where some water leaks occured have been identified for rapid processing and future prevention using state-of-the-art waterproofing equipment to protect lives and protect property in all joint operations facilities. The emergency team conducted an inventory of all the areas affected by the heavy rains, including sites in the residential area of the families, the northern region, the roads leading to the southern area, and the area of contractors and roads.
