Al-Khafji Governor Patrons Eid Al-Fitr Celebrations
With AGOC’s support, and under the patronage of Al-Khafji Governor Mohammad Bin Sultan Al-Hazzaa, Khafji’s people and its affiliated centers joined for Eid celebrations. The event was held on Friday the third day of Eid corresponding to 7th of July 2016, in square beside the King Salman Cultural Center on the corniche.
There was a variety of segments throughout the event which was supervised by celebration committee of Khafji’s governorate. On the stage, kids had their share of joy where a band provided entertainment and gave out presents through attractive games. Some 1600 fireworks colored Khafji’s sky which gave a wonderful celebration atmosphere and attracted attendees admiration who were enjoying their time and taking photos of these moments.
In his speech, Al-Khafji Governor Mohammad Bin Sultan Al-Hazzaa congratulated the wise leadership - may Allah protect them- and his highness prince Saud Bin Nayef Bin Abdulaziz the Emir of Eastern Province - may Allah protect him- and finally he congratulated the people of Khafji on the occasion of Eid Al-fitr. Al-Hazzaa pointed out that what we experience of prosperity, peace and security has been accomplished by the grace of Allah and our leaders. He concluded with prayers to Allah to accept everyone’s fasting and night prayers. Also, Al-Hazzaa acknowledged the big role AGOC had played in supporting this celebration.
Later, Al-Hazzaa honored civil, military and private bodies who supported the event and contributed in making it a success and to be well organized.
Towards the end, Al-Hazzaa , Khafji’s dignitaries and commons participated in “Al-Aardah” Saudi folklore dance, and it was announced that the event which was admired by everyone had come to an end.
