Khafji Department of Mosques Honors AGOC President & CEO



On Monday, May 3rd, 2021, after Magrib Prayer, the Department of Mosques, Dawah and Guidance in Khafji arranged an honoring party to the President and CEO of Aramco Gulf Operations; Eng. Azeb M. Al-Qahtani, in presence of Khafji Governor; Mohammad S. Al-Hazza, in recognition to the role of AGOC in financing the full maintenance and rehabilitation project of the Mosque of King Abdulaziz bin AbdulRahman Al Saud, may Allah have mercy on him; which is deemed the biggest mosque in Khafji Governorate.
The Mosque opened its doors again for performing the prayers in a new look, after completing all maintenance and rehabilitation works.
This contribution came out of the commitment of AGOC to its social responsibility and keenness to create a sustainable development in the community, economy and environment.
AGOC played an important role, since foundation, in supporting various initiatives and social responsibility programs in Khafji Governorate, including supporting the charity societies of Khafji, Nuairyah, Qaryat Al-Olia, and Hafr Al-Batin, as well as Neighborhood Club of Khafji Education Department, Social Development Committee, Quran Memorization Society, Reconciliation Committee, Social Security, Retirees National Committee, Prisoners’ families, as well as various cultural, entertainment and sport activities.
